Dear Heavenly Father -
Thank You for this day. Thank You for entrusting us to participate in Your plan for this day. Thank You for loving us and allowing us to love you in return. You have been so good to us, and while Thank You seems like such a commonly used phrase, we mean it with all our hearts.
Please forgive us of our sins - both what we have done on purpose and those things that we were unaware of yet were still sinful. Our goal is to live a life that honors you as our Father. Like children, there are times when we drop the ball. Please increase our courage to not be like the world but to live lives worthy of being called Your children.
Lord, we lift our educators and educational staff members suffering from ailments in their bodies. We are praying for those who have received a challenging diagnosis, those participating in treatment plans, and those chronically ill with no apparent remedy. We ask that you touch our bodies and heal our educators in the Name of Jesus. Allow our educators also to be able to accept your sufficient grace as a form of healing when the thorn is not removed from their situation. Please preserve their job when running out of sick time and personal leave. We pray that all bills are paid and paid on time. Most of all, we pray for their emotional well-being and that they allow You to be the joy of their salvation. We know that one touch from You will work modern-day miracles, and we trust You to help our educators.
Allow peace to reign in our schools and our neighborhoods. Please help us to be mindful of what is happening with our children and give us the strength to take over our homes. We are dependent on You, and we love You. It is in Jesus' Name that we pray and for His Sake
