Dear Heavenly Father,
During this week, when we focus on love, You are our most excellent explanation of love. Your Word makes it easy for us to understand love. I John 4 tells us not once but twice that "God is Love." We Thank You for sharing Yourself with us. The love You share with us is unlike anything we have ever experienced. There is nothing we can go through that Your love cannot conquer. Thank You, Lord, for loving us.
The depth and breadth of Your love for us humble us. Your love for us is not able to be measured. John 3:16 tells us, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but shat have everlasting life." We love You in this life and look forward to loving You throughout eternity.
We are grateful for Your faithful love for us. We ask that You forgive us of our sins in thought, word, and deed. We desire to show our love for you by following Your commandments. Please give us the courage to do what brings You joy. We are determined to walk in the counsel of the Godly. We will stand in the path of those who seek to do Your will. We will sit in the seat only of those who admire, respect and love You.
Father, we understand that Jesus told us in Mark 12:31 to "love our neighbor as ourself." Give us the strength to love others unconditionally. Please teach us not to take advantage of others. Let peace in our environment begin with us. We love You, Lord. It is in the Name of Jesus that we pray, and for His sake,
