I am a Rose: A Journey in Self-Esteem

Today The TJac Group hosted an incredible Virtual Director’s Tea. In honor of Floral Design Day, we presented our training session, I am a Rose, to a group of Directors. We had a very interesting session with great dialogue resulting in ideas that will be beneficial in the centers of all participants. We wish you were available to join us. You are more than welcome to join us for our Spring Virtual Director’s Tea on Thursday, March 21, 2019, @ 1:00 pm.

Email us at mailto:directorstea@gmail.com to sign up and to receive additional information.

During our session, we discussed the beauty and strength of roses and the beauty and strength of the team member who possesses healthy self-esteem. As leaders, it is important that Directors and Assistant Directors take the time to share Positive Affirmations with their Team Members as a source of encouragement and in order to enhance their healthy self-esteem.  A Team Member who has strong self-esteem is a benefit to the educational program. Others will observe the peace and productivity that exists within the center/school because it is filled with adults who enjoy loving themselves and their team leaders go out of their way to let team members know how much they are appreciated.

Take the time to enhance your self-esteem and the self-esteem of those around you by following these steps:

•Dream

•Document the Dream

•Complete one part of the Dream Every Day

•State Positive Affirmations Everyday

•Identify a positive aspect of your life for every negative statement that someone tells you about yourself

•Say out loud, “I love me!” Everyday

•Surround yourself with positive people who are going places

•Help at least one person every day

What do you do to encourage yourself and build your level of self-esteem?
