Dear Heavenly Father -
We are so grateful to You for allowing us to see another month. We have so much to be thankful for in this month of Thanksgiving. Thank You, Lord, that this November 1st is dramatically different from November 1st of 2021 and 2020. Thank You for our life and a reasonable portion of health and strength. Thank You for being the center of our thoughts, love, and commitment as we take Your name across communities.
Father, today we lift up PTAs across the country. Please bless the national PTA as they advocate for our children's health and safety, educational programs, and equality for all students. We ask that You strengthen local PTAs with innovative ideas that will draw parents by love and by blood to leave their homes and attend the next PTA meeting. Father, we know that together we can redirect our children to be more focused on books than bullying, more on getting to school than on gun possession, and more on their future than fighting for foolish reasons. Please extend extra patience to each PTA officer so that they do not become weary in their well-doing but push forward every day.
As we conclude, we pray that You will heal all families impacted by COVID-19, the Flu, or RSV. We declare that You, O God, are stronger than any illness. We need a miracle. Please touch bodies and circumstances. Our trust is only in You, God. Thank You for hearing our prayer. We commit this month to You. Use us for Your Glory. It is in the name of Jesus that we pray this prayer and for His Sake
